It promptly intervened with men and vehicles in the areas of Friuli devastated by the violent earthquake, working hard for several days in a generous rescue operation in favour of the population hit by the disaster. With high sense of duty and spirit of human solidarity, it faced the dangers for the continuous earth tremors, contributing to reduce the consequences of the disastrous event. The help offered with tenacity and generosity raised recognition and appreciation increasing the prestige of the Army. (Friuli, 6th May 1976 – 30th April 1977).

Proud interpreter of the traditions of the Transports and Materials Corps, it participated in the "Ancient Babylon" Operation in Iraq, included in the Joint Task Force, giving its contribution to the contingent for the success of the mission. For all the period the Officers, Non-Commissioned Officers and Soldiers of the Regiment operated with extraordinary physical, moral, intellectual and professional efforts in order to carry out the different logistic and humanitarian activities and to improve the life conditions of the local population. In particular, on 5th and 6th August 2004, with the outbreak of battles in the city of Al-Nassiriyah, it ensured a punctual and continuous refueling of food, ammunitions and fuels, giving proof of courage and valour and contributing to the success of the operations. Great example of motivated unit that, thanks to the extraordinary professionalism and moral firmness, it increased the prestige of the Army and of Italy in an international context. Incorporated in the ITALFOR contingent on the framework of the "Joint Endeavour" Multinational Operation in Bosnia Herzegovina, this Logistic Battalion operated for almost six months with extraordinary effort, capabilities and admirable spirit of sacrifice to ensure the essential support to the Forces employed, in a situation endangered by the struggles between groups and worsen by the prohibitive weather conditions. The men of the "Garibaldi" Logistic Battalion showed expertise and high sense of duty, guaranteeing a promptly intervention for the needs of all the contingent units. The morality and the quality of its work contributed to the positive end of the mission, raising admiration by the Contingents of the other Nations participating in the Operation. Clear example of high professionalism and moral firmness, it increased the prestige of the Italian Army. (Bosnia-Herzegovina, 11th January – 2nd July 1996).

Logistic Battalion included in the North Multinational Brigade operating in Bosnia-Herzegovina on the framework of the "Constant Guard" Operation. For almost seven months in a devastated scenario, it carried out all the activities necessary to ensure the support to the Italian contingent, with extraordinary efficiency, capability and spirit of sacrifice. In any situation the men of the Battalion showed expertise, high sense of duty and unconditioned dedication, permitting the units of the Brigade to express their operational capability. Carrying out a difficult activity and thanks to the tenacity and professionalism of its personnel, the Battalion contributed to the positive results of the mission gaining recognition and appreciation by the contingents of the other Nations participating in the Operation. Clear example of Unit with great motivations, moral firmness and technical-professional capabilities, that contributed to promote the image of the Italian Army on the international context. Proud interpreter of the virtues of the Transports and Materials Corps, it participated in the "Leonte" Operation in Lebanon, on the framework of the Joint Task Force-Lebanon, supporting the contingent and concluding its mission with enthusiasm, expertise and abnegation by its soldiers. As the first logistic unit to arrive in the operational theatre, with extraordinary human resources and availability of vehicles, it intervened everywhere guaranteeing an important contribution in the success of all operations. Its servicepersons, with faith and sense of duty, ensured with efficiency and determination the activities of refueling, medical assistance, transports and maintenance, offering an example of functionality and perfect organization, professionalism, competence and courage. Distinguished by altruism, solidarity and sense of military duties, its personnel contributed to give prestige to Italy and the Army, also on the international level.
