"Albis ardua"
Shield: divided into two sections. The section on the
left is shared into four squares by a silver cross: the first square has got
five golden points alternated to four blue points (Genevois); the second square
has got a silver horse on a red background (Westfalia); the third square is red
with a silver cross (Piedmont); the fourth square has got a black eagle with
spread wings on a red background. The section on the right is divided into two
parts: the upper part has got a silver cross behind a black eagle, while in the
lower red part there is a silver castellated band with a golden star above it.
The upper stripe of the shield is gold with a blue square.
External garnitures: above the shield there is a golden towered crown
with blue fluttering ribbons along the sides of the shield, representing the
recognitions to the Valour. Under the shield there is a golden fluttering
banner with the motto
"Albis ardua".
