Concluded today the official meeting between the Chief of the General Staff of the Italian Army, Lieutenant General Danilo Errico, and General Jean-Pierre Bosser, the Chief of General Staff of the French Army.
During the visit General Errico has dealt with different topics of common interest, focusing on new crisis events and the necessity to share the available excellences of the two Armies.
General Jean-Pierre Bosser has talked about the development of capabilities by the French Army, related to the "Scorpion" program. The project is based on the valorization of information and the digitalization of the battlefield, in order to make the maneuver tactics more rapid.
The meeting between the senior General Officers has represented an occasion to renew the common will in increasing the initiatives for the reinforcement of the bilateral cooperation between the respective organization, but also to increase the interoperability of the two Armed Forces especially in the educational and training field.
At the end of the visit, General Jean-Pierre Bosser has expressed his appreciation for the meeting and the effective collaboration between the two Armed Forces.
