Types of Uniform
Uniforms are made up of the items of clothing, accessories and equipment required by military personnel to perform their on-duty and off-duty tasks, and identify the military status of those who wear them.
Each type of uniform has both summer/winter and male/female versions, except combat uniforms.
The Italian Army has adopted four types of uniforms: the Army regulation uniform, the general duty uniform, the combat uniform and the ceremonial uniform.
When these dress ensembles are combined with other items of clothing, such as sweaters, caps, or are worn with decorations and a blue scarf, new uniform "variants" can be obtained, tailored to all types of occasions and situations.
There are four types of uniforms:
